Amir Khan (British Boxer) New Website

About Amir Khan

Amir Khan is a British Professional boxer. He is a former unified light-welterweight world champion having held the WBA (later Super) title from 2009 to 2012, and the IBF title in 2011. He became the UK’s youngest Olympic boxing medallist at the age of 17, and then held the record of winning WBA title at the age of 22. For him, inspiration comes from the American professional boxer Muhammad Ali but at home it’s all about good humour and hugs all round… that is what you will find at the Khan household.

What he needed

Having built a serious following on social media Amir needed a place where his followers could easily find out more about him. Amir thought it was time for a new website and commissioned KWD to do the work. As a fighter, boxer and more importantly, a fan of the sport, he likes to keep in touch with his followers. Amir Khan wanted a professional website that shows up on Google searches but also allows a central base to see up coming events, his history and Social Media posts – all in one place.

What we did

Koenig Web Design created a website that allows all aspects of Amir’s life to be seen at a click -from personal life to professional career. We built a user-friendly WordPress website for maximum integration with social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We have designed an easy to use gallery and display fights records within the site too. You can also find out about Amir’s foundation, academy and recently launched shop. We are very proud of our collaboration with AK and hope you enjoy navigating around the new website.
